In the afternoon we teamed up the Brave The Shave girls who have been fundraising for several months for the Macmillan Nurses and the Great Torrington Cavaliers. Mayfair 3pm; the stage was set the chair in place, the hairdressers ready and waiting the arrival of the girls who were to have their hair shaved off in public!
The auctioneer was ready to auction the first few cuts of hair before the professionals took over. This was an exceptional brave thing to do and the event was incredible, emotional and Inspiring!
1st up was Jane:
2nd was Bev, her Husband bid in the action to cut her her hair as did her Father and her Daughter shaved her head!
And finally was Payton:
We are very proud of these three brave ladies, well done!

Saturday 5th May - Carnival day.
The Cavaliers entered a float depicting the Mr Men! and our Cavalier Wives and Girlfriends (CWAGS) did Swan Lake.
