Cavaliers Give away £50,000 bonfire proceeds

Saturday 5th December - Plough Arts Centre Torrington - 10am

After all the years of hardwork leading upto and including the burn it is one of our favourite events when we give away the £50,000 raised by our spectacular Trumpton Bonfire. It was a full house and we started by showing the special Trumpton episode featuring the Cavaliers and a brief history of the bonfires on the cinema screen. 50% of the monies raised went to our 2 nominated charities; The Plough Arts Centre and the Macmillan Nurses who both received £12,500.

Mrs Jeffery from Torrington was presented with a Unique Gibraltar Crystal TRumpton bonfire vase, the 1st prize in our Grand Bonfire Draw

and our biggest supporter George was presented with our book "Built to Burn" signed by all the Cavaliers
